Before you buy:

1. Which Fabric is right for me? 

Every DAUS fabric is designed with a different lifestyle in mind.

  • Modal – Lightweight, elegant and versatile for everyday wear.
  • Jersey – Soft, stretchy and effortless. Perfect if comfort is your priority.
  • Crinkle – Low maintenance with natural texture, making it ideal if you don't want to steam your hijab.


2. What if I don't know where to start?

If you're new to DAUS, we'd recommend starting with the fabric that best suits your lifestyle.

Looking for everyday elegance? Try Modal.

Prefer something quick and comfortable? Jersey is a favourite.

Want the easiest option possible? Crinkle was made for busy mornings.


3. What size hijab should I order?

Our hijabs come in two sizes: Mini (160cm x 55cm) and Standard (180cm x 70cm). 

Most hijabs are available in both Standard (180x70cm) and Mini (160x55cm)

Mini is perfect if you:

  • Prefer less fabric
  • Are petite
  • Don't enjoy bulky wraps
  • Prefer a tucked in look

Standard offers extra styling versatility and overall more coverage.


4. What if the colour I want is sold out?

We regularly restock our most-loved shades and are always working on expanding our colour range.

If your favourite is unavailable, join the restock notification on the product page and we'll let you know as soon as it's back.


5. What if my favourite fabric isn't available?

We're continually growing our collections.

If your preferred fabric isn't available in a particular colour yet, chances are it's already on our roadmap. Join our email list to be the first to hear about new releases and restocks.


6. How do I know the quality is worth it?

We believe everyday essentials should last.

Rather than buying multiple products that disappoint, we focus on creating pieces you'll genuinely enjoy wearing for years to come.

7. Why are DAUS products priced the way they are?

We believe the pieces you wear every day deserve to be the highest quality.

8. What if I already have another favourite hijab brand?

We love seeing more brands serving the modest community.

11. Are your colours true to what's shown online?

We photograph every product as accurately as possible, but colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.

12. Why did you start DAUS?

DAUS was born from more than 20 years of wearing hijab and experiencing the same frustrations so many women still face today.

Our mission is simple: to remove the friction from modest dressing through thoughtfully designed pieces that never ask women to compromise on style, comfort or faith.

 

Orders & Shipping 


13. Where do you ship?

We're based in Melbourne, Australia and ship worldwide.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

International customers may be required to pay customs duties or import taxes depending on their country's regulations. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and aren't included in your order total.


14. How long will my order take? 

Orders are dispatched within 2–4 business days.

Australia: 1–6 business days

International: 6–28 business days

You'll receive tracking as soon as your order ships.

 

15. How do I care for my hijab?

Wash gently in cold water and avoid the dryer where possible to preserve the fabric and shape.

Full care instructions are included with every order.

 

16. What is your returns policy?

If something isn't quite right, contact us within 7 days of delivery on hello@dausthelabel.com

Items must be unworn, unwashed and in their original condition.
